Every December, DFW transforms. From Highland Park's storybook estates to Frisco's planned-community light shows, North Texas does Christmas big. Here are the best places to drive around and gawk at lights this season — and a few of our favorite homes we've installed.
1. Highland Park — Armstrong Parkway
The most famous Christmas light destination in Texas. Start at Armstrong Parkway and Preston Road, drive through the storybook estates. Many of the houses you'll see are our installs. The estates here go all-out: warm white rooflines, full tree wraps, custom wreaths, illuminated nativities. See our Highland Park installs →
2. Interlochen — Arlington
A whole neighborhood that goes synchronized every December. Some homes use radio-frequency timers to coordinate. Best on weeknights to avoid traffic chaos.
3. Vitruvian Park — Addison
Free, walkable, and beautiful. The trees around Vitruvian Lake get fully wrapped in warm white lights every December. Bring a thermos of cocoa.
4. Deerfield — Plano
A whole subdivision that participates. Block after block of homes lit up. Some of the homes here have used us; you can spot our work by the precision of the rooflines.
5. Swiss Avenue — Dallas
Historic 1920s-era mansions along Swiss Avenue dress up beautifully for Christmas. The architecture lends itself to traditional warm white displays.
6. The Frisco Square — Frisco
Public commercial display with synchronized music. Great for kids. Combine with dinner at one of the surrounding restaurants.
